I am a canadian resident who would like to buy a rifle in Washington State. It is not a prohibited weapon, it is a 1945 M44 bolt action, holds five in the clip. It is in a sporting store.
How do I go about doing this, what are the steps.
I have my restricted P.A.L.

My father has two diffrent AR15 that have bayonett lugs on them but bayonetts dont fit on them what is the point. On his AR15 pistol the lug is maybee 2 inches away from the barrel do they make somthing else that can go one there. On his carbine the barrel is too long for the bayonett. You would think that these companies would only put these lugs on weapons with the proper barrel legnths to fit a bayonett.

Hi, I'd like to buy a rifle in the US but I live in Canada. Is it legal to buy a rifle in the states and register it at the border? Please don't give me any answers along the lines of "Move to the states". Nothing wrong with the US but I live where I live.

Thanks.

Well some guns don't use a gas tube so I'm just curious if it provides some advantage.

i am doing a debate very soon in which i am in favor of gun control. I need three main points. Does anyone know reliable websites or sources that could help me out? Also, opinions and facts from yourself can help too.

Just give me the ones you've seen, the big ones. Not shopping sites though, if there is shopping on them then that's fine, but I don't want like Cabella or something. I'd rather have community web sites where you can talk to other hunters and stuff.

When your hunting squirrels with an airgun do you want pellets for penetration or expansion? Same for birds. I'm guessing you want expansion for squirrels and penetration for birds.

It really makes me mad that now days there are all these people into shooting that need to be at home playing Halo.I was at the range the other day and there were these two kids there blasting music and shooting guns gangster style,I asked them why they shoot like that and they said its more accurate.
Ok.I was there shooting my 460 and this stupid kid comes up and pickes up my Glock.I told him thats a good way to get shot.He put it down and mumbled somthing and left.He didnt ask to see it he just came over and picked it up.It was laying maybee 10 feet from me.I allways shoot there and I never had problems like this before. When they were leaving I wrote down there license plate # and make of car.I called the president of the club.He said they had problems before with them. They were bringing Tvs and garbage to out range shooting it and leaving it there. These stupid kids need to stay at home and play Halo before they get hurt or hurt themselves.

I am considering the marlin 308MX .308 Marlin Express
and the Browning BLR Lightweight '81 Takedown 308 Win.

I was curious to see if anyone owned either of the two, and their pros, and cons of the two rifles.

Uses will include hunting,plinking,target/range.

Microsoft, the software giant, will make a $100,000 donation to the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and is partnering with the group on a pilot program called the i’m Initiative. Through the new program, whenever a Windows Live Messenger user has a conversation using i’m, Microsoft will give a portion of the program’s advertising revenue to one of ten organizations selected by the user. The HSUS is one of the choices, and there is no limit to the amount of money that can be donated.

The U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance, the nation’s leading sportsmen’s advocacy organization, has urged Microsoft to end its support of HSUS, but the company refused. According to Microsoft representative Tara Kriese, Microsoft believes the i’m Initiative is “a great way to enable people to help causes that are important to them.”
