I have a synthetic stock on it right now, and I was wandering if anybody knows where I can get a wood stock for it? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

If you don’t mind me asking why switch?
The synthetic stock is less affected by weather there by you don’t have to worry about that affecting the accuracy in rain or high humidity.
To get a wood stock to perform better in all weather conditions, you will need to have it glass bedded or pillar bedded.

To me the synthetic stock is the work horse of the gunstocks.
Granted wood has the better aesthetics but aesthetics only goes so far in the woods.

The link attached will help you find a wooden stock, but you might wont to hold on to the synthetic stock just in case you wont to switch back.

FYI..Ebay has suspended the sale of gun parts effective the 15th of this month. This is aa direct result of the mass murders at Virginia Tech. Seems Cho purchased a few pistol magazines on Ebay so the security director has decided not to allow any more new ads or the sale of gun parts.

I can tell you that Numrich Arms Corporation, in West Hurley ,New York e-gunparts.com or brownells.com, BOTH have Savage Wood stocks Model 111 (Original Factory Parts) in stock.(About $42 + Shipping) They are both very reputable parts suppliers to the Gunsmith trade and general public.

DJ is also right about Boyd's Gunstocks..They make incredible thumb hole target stocks in Salt & Pepper and Nutmeg colored wood laminates..I own several myself

Go to Numrich Arms fore a stock. Suspend any and all contact with Ebay due to their unamerican and leftist attitude toward american citizens.
