This is the rifle i'm getting. It's available in 30-06 and 7mm. I will be using this rifle for target shooting. I was wondering what caliber I should get it in. Also, If anyone owns this rifle or one like it, i'd like to know what you think of it.

More specifically What ports or fisheries exist in N.C. and which fish or crustaceans are the most lucrative?
Are there seasons or can commercial fishing industries fish all year long? And any other details you know of...

Are certain guns better than others as far as investing goes. What would be the best choices, and why?

I am looking into getting my first shotgun. I want somehting that I can hunt duck, deer, turkey, and skeet shoot (for fun). The gun has to be pump and camo. What would be the best gun that would fit this description. Price is not a major factor, but something less expensive would be nice. Thanks

Minn. Woman Shoots Albino Deer During Opener

(WCCO) On this season's deer opener, a Minnesota woman shot one of the rarest kinds around; an albino deer. Mary Rakotz of Avon got the 6-point buck on Saturday in Mille Lacs County.

She said it was thrilling to see the rare animal, but 100 times more exciting to be able to actually take it home.

"I had heard that it might be in the area, so I thought that here was my chance of a lifetime. So I had to creep a little bit, probably about 40 yards, to get a good place where I could steady myself a little bit. But then I did that and shot and it went right down," said Rakotz.

Rakotz said she isn't sure if she has room to mount the buck, so she's contacted Cabella's to see if they're interested in buying it.

She also said her family and friends are pretty excited for her, and maybe even a little jealous.

What was she thinking???????

I have several years marksmanship experience, but I have noticed that two different glocks I have purchased have always placed my groups on the left side of the target at 25 yards. I know it's nothing to do with my form, trigger control, breathing or wrist break.. so any one else have this issue with glocks?

More specific, how is the Taurus Tracker in .357 magnum with a 6 inch barrel? What about its accuracy, recoil, would you take it deer hunting with you? I heard that Taurus's are bad guns... is this true about the Tracker?

my grandfather tells me that when he was a kid (hes 83 now) that you could go and purchase a single shot remington or winchester .22 for "five and a quarter" i asked him if he meant $525 and not $5.25 and he meant five dollars and twenty five cents. he also said that for even less you could purchase a mossberg .22, but its accuracy wasnt as good.

is this really true, were they really this inexpensive?

I have no idea where to start! I love shooting, I love different kinds of guns, but when it comes to actual brands, i'm lost.
I'm stuck between a shotgun and a rifle:
I love shooting skeet, love love love it.
But I'm not a huge fan of bird.
So I wouldn't really go bird hunting at all with it.

With a rifle,
I love target practice, I have really good aim.
I would go deer hunting with it.
But I wouldn't be able to shoot skeet.

and i love muzzle loaders, too though.
but i don't think I want one... It would get too expensive I think, buying the balls and patches and powder, and ram rods, all that stuff.
so I don't think I want to invest in that right now.

but what should I buy?
I really don't go hunting all too often, though. I went just once last year.

But in addition to what kind of gun,
what brands are the best?
I'm kind of lost. haha
