Camping or backpacking? If you're talking car camping or something simple like that, there are tons of places all over. Just search around on the US Forest Service or National Park websites for campgrounds.

If you're talking camping in the backcountry (while backpacking), Glacier Nat'l Park has great backcountry. Also check out the Mission Mountain Wilderness (I hiked and camped at Turquoise Lake once-beautiful!). Also the Bob Marshall Wilderness is well known. Have fun.

I'll have to agree with Glacier National Park.
It is beautiful, it is big. A fair amount of people go there, but you can still find solitude. It is also worth going to because the glaciers are shrinking and I would check 'em out before they are too far gone.

this is the Montana State Parks list (not national parks).
You might be able to find something a little less main stream here.

Glacier National Park .
Why ?Because due to the global warming that some people refuse to believe is happening , the glaciers that the Park is named after will be gone in a generation so you better see them while you stilll can,
