Are there any restrictions on owning an air rifle, are children allowed to use them, and do you need to have a firearms license to own an air rifle?

Some states require age limitations, others don't. No where in the USA do you need a license to buy or own an air rifle.Altho some citys have banned air rifles all together.

Depends where you live...
New Jersey requires a license with the local P.D. NYC doesn't allow them at all. There's plenty of places with restrictions. Generally you have to be 18 to buy them or use them without adult/guardian supervision.

Some places they are banned completely.
Others have age limits.
Some no restrictions.
No licenses that I've heard of.
Depends what City & State you're in.

No, you really don't need a liscence for a air rifle you just got to be 18 to buy one and depending on the state you live in by its standerds. As for your other ? yes children can have bb. guns as long as they are under adult suppervision. you can get BB. guns anywere in the US alone " except California".
