My gun is the .38 "chiefs special" (small frame 5 shot 2" bbl.) I bought the bullets by mistake and was wondering if they might be too much for that gun.

I am new to the area..Have caught peacocks (a lot of fun) various cichlids, tilapia etc....Some Largemouth, very few bluegill...no crappie...It seems to me that SE Florida is over run by exotic species..

Just out of curiosity?
How did you get into fishing?
Here’s my story. I used to go bass fishing with my neighbor a few times a week and he had every thing already rigged up and ready to go when we left at 4 in the morning to go to the lake. All I had to do was through the lure in the water and fish, he taught me where to find bass and how to work the baits, mainly spinnerbaits. He also taught me how to work a baitcast reel, which I appreciate very much. He was very experienced; he probably fished 340+ days a year. Well any way he moved a few years ago, and when he left he gave me the fishing pole I used when I went fishing with him. Now that he's not around to teach me and I don't have any family members to teach me except my dad, but he knows just as much as I do, but now since able to learn about every lure in depth or what lures to use when whare, and my neighbor did almost every thing and all I did was through the lure in the water, when he left I was left with only a fishing pole a the want and addiction to go fishing but with limited knowledge. But now that he’s gone and it’s just me, I've had to read about things on the internet this website inpiticular to get info on fishing. I would like to thank everybody who has helped me out.

I'm looking for someone in Oregon who is into arrowhead hunting, preferably someone with a 4-wheel rig. I'd share all expenses.

Don't get me wrong I have no sympathy for a lot of those assholes who have a sick pleasure hunting down a fox to a violent and bloody end but of course we know despite all propaganda that serve as nothing more than an irritating distraction, namely the idea that its nothing more than urban predudice, that the real and only issue that serves as any great good is to minimize the inhumane sufferring to animals. Is hunting by dogs really the only humane way of culling foxes? Personally It has been a suprise to find myself from being 100% anti-fox hunting to being either unsure with many questions to perhaps being pro fox hunting with the exact same philisophical greater good. The fox is a preditor and in its life time it hunts and kills perhaps in the same violent and inhumane way thousands of small mamals. If you kill one fox or one preditor in the most humane way possible and I mean all preditors lions, tigers and foxes how can that not be the right thing considering the mass suffering?

I live about an hour south of Sacramento and am looking for a place to camp the weekend before 4th of July. I know most places are booked but I am looking for something more along the lines of scenery and atmosphere rather than attractions and activities. I don't have a preference whether it be in the mountains or near the coast but I have friends coming from Portland and I will be bringing my two young daughters. If anybody could help me find something along these lines I would appreciate it......I really enjoy places that are well shaded and have a secluded/nature feel as some camp sites in California do not.

I cant decide which I want. I want to shoot with accuracy, being somewhat cheap in price is important, and maybe be able to kill a deer if I decide to hunt with it after I am a better shoot. Which one? Or, is there a better one thats somewhat cheap I should buy?

I was thinking about a .270 Remington 700 model or something for $450.00

But today I looked in a big 5 add and they have a 30-6 & scope combo. the scope is 3-9 X 40mm according to this add all for 400 dollars. Its a savage rifle.

Im thinking about hunting deer, maybe bear after I have more experience and some coyote

So should i get the 30-06 or the 270.
(someone told me a 270 wont kill a bear)

Will these completely destroy the coyote lol?

They are about 200 years old, and are in mint condition. I was wondering is anyone has any suggestions as to how I would go about selling them, or finding out their true value. They do not have any markings like serial numbers, or even a makers name. Help! I am stumped. Thanks!
