Hike, mountain bike. If there is water nearby, fish, swim, kayak, boat, tube. At the campsite, play cards, dominoes, cook, roast marshmallows, read a book. If they hate nature, they can hide in the tent and play gameboy or psp.

Me and some friends created a game called rugrat; similiar to capture the flag but more contact involved. You have 2 bases (jails) and the teams divide up and run into the woods, if you come across someone on the opposite team the only way to capture them is to tap them on the back 3 times. Then escort them to the base or jail. The first one who captures someone is the nthe jailer and will have to keep them from being set free a simple shake of the hand of the prisoner from a team mate and they are free. The first team totally captured is the loser. It is best to play at night more fun.

Teach them to cook hearty man fireside meals, If your the drinking type let em' have a couple of beers. Take him on a hike and point out things in the woods to him (animal tracks, deer rubs on trees, how to navigate with stars and or the sun) basic things. When I was young camping was a huge thing with my dad. He taught me things that might save my life, and around the fire he let me pretend that I was a grown man, playing cards and drinking a few.
