Score is tied 0-0 and the bases are loaded at the bottom of the ninth inning. Batter at the plate hits a home run. Is the score 4-0 or does only the winning run crossing the plate count for 1-0?

Curtis Granderson of the Detroit Tigers being only the THIRD player EVER to get 20 or more doubles, triples, home runs, and stolen bases. It was SO cool! Did you hear about it?

Won't it be ironic when you drown in your tears when A-Rod gets the hell out of dodge when before all you would do is piss and moan about him? Ha, it's poetic justice. Enjoy him for the next two months, because it's going to be the last you see of him. Way to chase possibly the best baseball player EVER out of town in the middle of his prime.

I'm going to try out for Softball at my school, and I'm not quite sure how to prepare. I've been on multiple softball teams, but its been a while. I know I'm in good shape, but I don't know if there's anything I can do to work on my hand eye cordination as its been a while since I've hit a ball with a bat. How can I make sure that I'm ready to try out and that I have a chance of making the team? Thanks!

Does he have a chance with 20 games left and a possible post season? Would it not be great to see him top the steroid users of recent years?

I'll be in NY on Saturday Oct. 6th & as I can't go cheer FOR the Diamondbacks, I might as well go cheer AGAINST the Yankees - I was at game 6 of the WS in 2001 & we all had a great time winning 15-2 :-)

why havent the diamondbacks gotten the all star game yet? this season is the stadiums 10th season being played on (12th year since being built)?? i think is shouldve been awarded when the stadium was built, but i guess bud selieg (sp) doesnt think so

and dont say that peonix isnt ready for an event like that, because not long ago the NBA all star game was held there, the fiesta/ insight bowl is held near by every year and the super bowl will be in the area this year

Here's a scenario: bottom of the 9th, two outs, game seven of the World Series and you're up by 3 runs. The hitter coming up has been locked in all series, virtually impossible to get out. Would you think about walking him?

Well as a yankee fan i want wang he has had a great year 18 -6 record 3.68 era he missed like almost all April , Beckett on the other hand has the same record 18-6 and era 3.30 era but i think Beckett is going to win it sadly because the red sox have a better record than the yankees thats the only reason i think Beckett beats wang by a bit , but im wishing wang wins it

With the Red Sox, Indians, and Angels winning their divisions and the Yankees going as a wild card. The first round of the playoffs would be the Indians vs Red Sox and the Angels vs Yankees, or do you see it another way?

im in 10th grade already there talking about college and stuff . I was thinking what career do i want to do and what is going to be my major . My 2 choices are being a Pediatrician or a you know like what kim jones does she interviews the yankees players and stuff or something with the yankees. Each has it good and bad things . The kids doctor you have be 4 years plus like another 5 years and you have to be good at math and science with i am not good at , but i love kids . At the same time i love the yankees and i want to something realated with that , like i said before being journalist or reporter for the yankees , but it will be hard as hell to get the job and i think many people want that job to, plus im going to be travel a lot and move away from my family .

I my heart says to be a reporter for the yankees , thats like the only thing that i find interesting .

the guy has been Superman to hes strong 51 hr and over 130 rbi and over 130 runs scored and over sb 20 and an ba over 300 i haerd on baseball tonight that hes hte only baseball player in mlb history to hit 50 hr and score 130 runs and have rbi 130 and steal 20 . The man suprises me this year has been magical all the crap he had to endure last year i felt bad for him and the boos from the fans i got mad at him but had to much respect to boo the man. He has been alleged with steroids scandal and other crap , but every player in this era of baseball will because its the steroid era. Many people think he took something but without evidence i wont belive anything , plus hes been consistent all his career . The man he has been blessed by god with the talent he has .
I just Hope that this year hes dream can come true to be a ws champion that would be the cherry on top to Alex career the future Hof
