The Angels, Red Sox and Diamondbacks might have something to say about that!

NO. They have 2 dominant starters, the other 3 are decent. And their bullpen isn't the best. Their closer has an era over 5. They are a very solid team and a good team but certainly not the best. They are winning a lot of games because of their domination within their weak division.

Here's a tricky situation. If they continue to play well they can grab the 2nd best record or best record in the AL; however, doing so would mean they draw the Yankees in the ALDS. The Indians are 0-6 against the Yankees this year. So if they try to "throw" a few games to ensure not facing the Yankees do they get a lot of heat for it from MLB? Do they forget how to play real ball and forget how to win? Or do they advance to the LCS where they can lose to the Yankees there?

These are all just crazy observations, I'm not predicting any of this will acutally happen, jus throwing it out there. But Cleveland is NOT the best team in MLB.

they are the 3rd best, but only 1 game behind the 2nd best. They have 2 great starters 1 or 2 decent starters and 1 shaky starter. Someone mentioned Borowksi's ERA, that is true but he is the save leader, he has like 40 or 41 saves I think. In case some people forgot they were .500 against the Angels this year, and as I said only one game behind them for the 2nd best record, but Indians and the fans don't care we want the playoffs not silly titles like 2nd best or 3rd best team in baseball. They are playing alot better this month so far but it's hardly over they have to play well for the rest to clinch the AL Central.

The best team in baseball right now are the Yankees. I don't go by record because that depends on who you're playing. The Yankees have the best all-around team and I'd say the Red Sox are second.

The Red Sox have better starting pitching and probably have an equal bullpen. However, the Yankees have a much better offense (even with Manny in the lineup, without it's not even close) and the Yankees have better defense.

The Indians are not even in the discussion, sorry.

I think the Indians have the best starters in the league and pitching wins in the playoffs. All these people with there quick No, know nothing about us. They get all there info from ESPN Who just figured out we are better then the Tigers. Just kickback and enjoy the ride, and as these bandwagon jumpers change there tune and try to hop on board, just smile and boot them back to New York, Boston ,and California. GO TRIBE !!!

Nope, I so wish they were but standings say the honor belongs to the Red Sox. Based on the money they have spent however, they are better than any of the outrageously overpaid Red Sox and Yankees.

They will be tough to beat in a series with having to face Sabathia and Carmona both twice and Westbrook and Byrd for the remaining games. Having two elite starters might be enough with this playoff format to propel them forward through the playoffs.

Perhaps. That hardly matters in the post season though. But they will win the World Series because they have what no other team has got this year: karma. Karma will make them snap their long dry spell and leave the Cubs and Giants to deal with theirs.

It's spelled "Cleveland" & although they aren't the best team, they do show bright promise, so I'll continue to support them. I remain loyal to the Indians & the Cavaliers, but the Browns, not that's another story.

The Tribe isn't scared to play anyone in the playoffs and we'd love nothing more than to kick the sh!t out of the Yankees or the Red Sox in the first round. This is our year we have a deep bench and our bullpen is one of the best in baseball with the 2 Raffies.
GO TRIBE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
