Does he have a chance with 20 games left and a possible post season? Would it not be great to see him top the steroid users of recent years?

Not likely but I would love to see him hit the way he is hitting now in the post season! If he hits like this when/if the Yankees go to Aneheim then the Yanks will amaze everyone who counted them for dead back in MAY!

He will break the home run record for players that have not used steroids!!!! Although if he's gonna keep hitting 2 hrs each game he can have another 38 plus the 52 he has =90. If he somehow can pull that off yes he will and that will never be broken unless the HR derby is counted.

Well he could be using steroids to. Bonds was only accused a few years ago so they didnt get after him till after most of his career. Same could happen to AROD. I dont think he can break the record though. Hes averaging a HR around every 3 games. With 20 games left he would only hit about 6 or 7 if he keeps up his average. He needs 20 total to end up breaking the record. Not going to happen even with the post season. He would need to have a homerun every game without post season or maybe a homerun every 2 games depending on how deep they go into the playoffs. I dont even expect him to break 65.

No way, he will definitely not be hitting 73. At most he'll break 60.
People on here act like players aren't using steroids anymore. When is the last time the Rodriguez has been tested? The Steroid Era is not over, we are still in it.

Who cares? Bonds, Rodriguez this is the comparable sham record. Hammerin Hank Aaron is the actual homerun king. A baseball legend and a upstanding individual who finished greatness that A-Roid can in effortless terms dream of.

I think Alex Rodriguez is the best thing to happen to baseball since the likes of Bonds, McGwire, Palmeiro, Caminiti, Giambi etc etc, have blackened the eye of the game. Let's hope he doesn't somehow end up in some sort of controversy. But to your question...

I think he'll end up around 57 and possibly 60 (wouldn't that be great). But with so few games left, it's hard to imagine him getting anymore than that.

He's got a decent shot at 62. And that would be good enough in the eyes of many to have the home run record for a single season.

What HR record would that be?

The single-season record is 73. He has 52...

I don't think he can hit 22 more in less than 20 games...

If he can get to 65 in the next 10 games, he's got a shot. He has no reason to be in a hurry though. I'd rather him be known for being a great all-around player.

alex rodriguez is the best player in the game.
i agree with most people,
everyone knows bonds took steriods, fan or not. . .
hes straight up busted, arod has always been clean. . .

i think he can do it, 20 games is more than enough. . .
if he gets to 63, he is the true home run king !
