It is not possible to save rbi for the post-season. Just like it's not possible for the Red Sox to save some wins for the post-season.

I wish he could save some for Oct. A-Rod didn't have any RBI's the last 2 post seasons, he didn't have a HR either.

Arod should continue hitting his home runs i would like to see him beat the record not sure if he has enough time in the regular season! However i do hope he does nothing in the post season for my teams sake!! Also im glad hes having an incredible year now he can opt out his contract and come to BOSTON!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we get into the playoffs, if the season ended today we would, Alex will go on a tear. The reason being he can opt out of his contract and he will command as much as 30million per year for his services. This is his showcase year.

He never plays well in the post season.

Quiet down. Arod is playing out of his mind ALL season, he is finally comfortable. As long as he keeps his mind in check that he just has to play baseball and no put the pressure on himself, he's going to win the WS MVP as well.

Yeah, if he comes up with runners in scoring position he should fan and tell Torre he did it purposely because he's saving himself for the post season.

Nah, he has plenty to spare...

A-Rod (9 series) 132 at bats, .362/.485/.847 6 HR/16 RBI

no, he needs to produce now to make sure he helps get them to the post season, if he chokes again in the playoffs its ok, the yankees would not even make the playoffs without a great regular season from Arod.
