I think MLB don't have the first black manager to lead the team to World Series winner.

I just found out that Chicago White Sox has first foreign born manager to lead White Sox to World Series.

Do you know that any of first black manager to lead the team to World Series?

I know, it's way to early and I hate when people ask these questions too, but they are coming on strong and did well against the Tigers. The Indians & Tigers play 3 games this weekend, so the Twins can gain ground there with 1&2 playing each other.

Just curious as of now what you're opinon is?

"Grud," as he is affectionately known, had an amazing Gold Glove season last year for a terrible KC team. .297 ba, 7 jacks, smacked 32 doubles, and led the squad with 85 runs. Plus, he was a 1996 all-star and once had 201 hits in a season.

No one is going to say he's the best 2B in the league, but he's very, very solid and clutch. Your thoughts on "Grud?"

1) Because he is a moron?
2) Because he couldn't manage his way out of a wet paper bag?
3) Because he didnt go to the World Series last year?
4) Because Jim Leyland is simply better and does know how to manage

I don't understand it. I am a huge Seattle Mariners fan, and I don't get it. The thing is that most of my fellow fans don't get it either. If it was at the beginning of the season when they struggled, or at the end of last year, I would understand. But now?! 8 game winning streak, 4 games out of the best record in Baseball (LA) and 1 game out of the wild card. Maybe it is a thing with Ichiro, I know they didn't get along at first...but I don't know. Help me out?

He has been absolutely horrible lately? I cannot find any information as to weather he is hurt or not. He has great numbers against almost all of the pitchers he's facing next week. Should I sit him though since he's so ice cold? My alternative is to play Aubrey Huff.
