C: Roy Campenella
1b: Gil Hodges
2b: Jackie Robinson
SS: Pee Wee Reese
3B: Jim Gillian

He's been injured this year and not really producing. He's reaching his mid-30's. His arm sucks, his range is going down. The yankee's do not even want to use him in the outfield anymore. I understand that this could just be a bad year for him offensively because of his early season injury, but do you think that he'll get it back together next year or do you think he'll slowly get worse and suck it up and end up a bench player.

Only the Cleveland Indians had retired Larry Doby's number, #14, he's second black player to played in MLB since Jackie Robinson was first black player to played in MLB. The Dodgers retired Robinson's number, later in 1997 MLB decided to retired #42 as all players aren't allows to wears #42.

but American baseball players don't ?? Why don't American born ball players looking to get some more experience, gain more fans, make some extra $$ and work on their game in the offseason...why don't they go as well. It would also be good to learn the culture of their fellow latin teammates, get to know them better, and take a few pointers from former big leaguers that coach teams over there.

Don't look at the internet searches as Google, Ask, Answers, and Wikipedia,

Don't copy the answer from other user when you answer on this question.

Find the website that it's relate to the baseball,

When you answer this question, give me the numbers, years of retire numbers, and players names.

You always know that MLB has retired number 42 as Jackie Robinson's number that all teams are not allows to wear #42 today.

What baseball record that was set after 1930 do you think will never be broken. Pitching records from before 1930 don't count because with the way the game is played today no one will ever break those records.
Notice I did not ask for your opinion about Bonds or steroids so don't even go there.
I think Cal Ripkin's games played streak and Dimaggio's hit streak will be the toughest to break, if they're broken at all

I once slugged a 300 foot foul ball for my high school baseball team. My numbers look like this:
AVG - .180
HR - 0
RBI - 1
I also consider myself a leadoff hitter since I play shortstop. I stole 2 bases but was thrown out 6 times.

Yes Matt plays at Coors Field but with the addition of the humidor that severly leels the playing field. He only has 14 HR but he has the highest batting average and most hits in the league and when he hit a HR its gone baby. The man has power and an excellent swing, he should be in this year's Home Run Derby.

The way IT WILL GO DOWN. The Braves in the East, the Brewers in the Central and the Padres in the West. the Wild card will be the Mets.

In the American League the Red Sox out of the East (NO BRAINER), Detroit in the Central and the Angels in the West. the Wild card will be the Indians.

N.L. champ will be the Brewers (and I'm a Brave fan)
A.L. champ will be the Angels

Angels will be the the 2007 World Champs. TAKE IT TO THE BANK. How far off do you guys think I am??????????
