The A.L. will be the Angels. Great pitching and hitting, no one can stop that. They should be good in the future too since they have such young players.
the N.L. champ could be the Braves. They have a good pitching rotation with Smoltz and Hudson, plus they have some big bats. I think the Padres also have a good shot along with the Mets and Brewers. If the Braves come on top, it will probably be about 2 games.
The Angels will be the champs easily, not only because I'm a fan, but because they are insane. Best record in baseball, and one of the hottest teams latley.
I think you're dead on with the Angels, but the Braves might struggle a little bit getting past the Mets. But I think they will since NY has been in a hole lately. Atlanta has a great shot at making the playoffs, but they might need some luck to make it to the World Series.

Yeah I guess since the team with the best record last year didn't win the world series, the team with the best record never will! Learn something Georgieporgie!

It was definitely a crazy year, no doubt! I think another point to be brought up would be the drama of the last day of the regular season. Seeing Atlanta and Boston fail to keep such big leads for the Wild Card was incredible. I was shocked when I found out they both couldn't hold on. I think things like that are why we're baseball fans, though. It's a relatively simple game but nothing ever happens the same way twice. It always keeps you on the edge of your seat. BQ: I hope the Rays can beat the Rangers in the postseason. But who knows, anything can happen!

HAHAHAHA, what a joke.
FIRST OF ALL....the NL East is going to look like this:
Mets 97 - 65 -
Phillies 90 - 72 7
Braves 85- 74 11
So, the Braves are not going anywhere.
Second of all....the Brewers in NL? No way. I can go with you on the Angels.
Its going to be the Mets over the Red Sox. The Braves suck. Bob Wickman cant close out a game to save his life.....Andruw Jones is probably off whatever steroids he was on when he hit 51 HR two years ago, give it up

You are slightly way off base, I am pretty sure you meant to say how many games the brave will finish BEHIND THE NEW YORK METS!
And IF I took the angels winning the world series to the bank; I'D BE BROKE!!!!!
I would end up owing the bank!!!!!
the best record in baseball does NOT mean you will win the World Series! any REAL baseball fan would know that. look at last year, for example, the yanks had the best record in baseball and what happened?

I say the Braves will be 5 games behind the Mets at the end of the year. Even though the Mets haven't been playing well lately, they are still in first place. They'll get better!

Thats what I'm talking my man finally somebody else is a braves fan. The Braves will win the East no doubt about it. They have owned the Mets this year and the have the best record in July since 1991. This is the month where they cetch the Mets and I believe they will win the division by 5.5 games.

Only two glaring errors. First the Braves will not win their division unless they get themselves another first rate starting pitcher (I am a Braves fan). So, I am not convinced they can overtake the Mets. At least not yet. Secondly, it is the Red Sox, not the Angels, who will win the World Series. However, you did try and did fairly well.
Chow!!

The Mets are winning the East. Get over yourself and your crappy team with 2 starting pitchers. Plus your best position player is havign the worst year of his career. I guess he really needed those 'roids, huh?
