For the same reason that beer tastes better when my favorite team is winning... and that is also in the stadium. It is part of the whole experience.

For one when a hot dog costs $4 it better be good right?

I think that its the type they use and the way they cook 'em. Plus its a baseball game so it just feels right to eat hotdogs. I'm not a huge hot dog fan, but when i go to a game, I ahve to have one. Like i said its just a baseball thing.

In Cleveland even the mustard is better at the park. Cleveland is known for their "Ball Park Mustard" They only sell it around Ohio, I believe.

That is a great question...cause the hot dogs at Yankee Stadium are the greatest in the world...yet, when I buy them at home myself, same brand, they are never as good.

Maybe it's something in the water where they are boiled...who knows.

But you are right, they are always so much better.

Hot Dogs always taste better when you're team is winning, as long as you can swallow the price. C'mon Miller Park, $4 for a hot dog and $6 for a beer? You're killing us!

The atmosphere, just like popcorn always tastes better at the movies. Just walking into a ball park and smelling those things cooking is enough to make you drool for one. But you have to get the steamed ones.

It's because we are excited about going to the game and expect it to be better. I am not sure they really are better but as long as we all believe they are, why spoil a good thing?

cause i think it is all in the way they prepare them, they boil them and then they steam cook them and somewhere in there is what makes them taste better.
