He's been injured this year and not really producing. He's reaching his mid-30's. His arm sucks, his range is going down. The yankee's do not even want to use him in the outfield anymore. I understand that this could just be a bad year for him offensively because of his early season injury, but do you think that he'll get it back together next year or do you think he'll slowly get worse and suck it up and end up a bench player.

Damon will be 34 later this year and there is no question he has lost a step. He has had more injury problems the past few years and I don't think you will ever see him put up the kind of numbers he has put up in the past. You can throw him right in there with the rest of the aging Yankee players.

I do think his career is going downhill. I think you'll see a little improvement next year, because this is just a bad year for him. However, he is on the decline and his stats will go down steadily.

well like you said he is getting old so and his arm is not that good and plus hes been injured so i think this year hes not going to do very good but next year when hes healthy he will be good
