I am going to old timers day at yankee stadium and want to make a sign it doesnt need to be for the old timers.
i am a yankee fan
the pitchers are clemens vs. lackey

Cleveland is 19-20 on the road.
Detroit is 20-18 at home.
The Tigers need to take at least 2
And I think that is reasonable.
Tonight is Cleveland's best chance to win.
Wednesday we have Rogers
and Thursday we have Verlander
(although Verlander struggled his last start
he will recover and be amazing.)
I know Cleveland has CC on Thursday as well.
Should be a good game then.

IF The Tigers take 2 of 3 we would be exactly where we are now; 1 game out. This weekend Cleveland is in Toronto and Hopefully The Jay sweep them.

If the Yankees are really done this year and the Red Sox make it to the World Series, the New York Mets could still beat them! I bet in another 86 years, Yankee fans will be bragging about it chanting "2004!" just like they always said "1918!"

TBS used to show all the Braves games. Now they don't. Why not?

My father is obcessed with the Red Sox (just like many New Englanders). Growing up I've always wanted the Red Sox to win just because it would keep my father & brother happy. Recently I've started watching games with him and asking all sorts of questions about baseball rules, history, logistics, etc. He loves answering them.

I think it would be fun to confuse him by having an intelligent conversation about some aspect of the Red Sox that I would normally have no clue about. Facts, history...whatever you can think of. Anything that you think would work would be appreciated.

If it would have been any regular person it wouldnt be a problem? And I cant believe that a man really left the game to "rat" to security and the police, since when can we not wear clothes with bad language on it, if you have a kid, your gonna have to explain the word to them at some point, get it over with. And im sure that that little snitch that dragged his son away from the game, has used the word b4. Basically people need to get a grip and find something else to do, like enjoy the game you probably paid a lot of money for.

The legends, the myths, the ambience...made for glorious days in what (former) mayor John Lindsay called "fun City".

You won't find me going to any live ballgames again, rather, look for all those wonderful collectibles on ebay.

If you feel the magic was lost, then would you agree that free agency created prima donnas rather than exciting teams.

I think Rich Gossage will finally make it.

Bert Blyleven definitely deserves to be there. He's the 5th in K's with a very good K/BB ratio, was 13 shy of 300 victories and 3.31 lifetime ERA is very good.

Which one will make it on their 1st ballot?
