Cleveland is 19-20 on the road.
Detroit is 20-18 at home.
The Tigers need to take at least 2
And I think that is reasonable.
Tonight is Cleveland's best chance to win.
Wednesday we have Rogers
and Thursday we have Verlander
(although Verlander struggled his last start
he will recover and be amazing.)
I know Cleveland has CC on Thursday as well.
Should be a good game then.

IF The Tigers take 2 of 3 we would be exactly where we are now; 1 game out. This weekend Cleveland is in Toronto and Hopefully The Jay sweep them.

I agree..IT'S HUGE my fellow Tiger's fan! I think if the Tribe is going to win it will be tonight w/ Robertson on the mound...unfortunatly he has been shaky this year. I also think it will be a great match up on Thursday...I agree Verlander will be ready to pitch outstanding to get that bad taste out of his mouth from his last start.

I think this series means alot because we're FIGHTING for the division. We do have the **TOUGHEST** division hands down in the whole league afterall! You gotta love great competition though! When the Tigers excel and go to the WS (everyone knows they will;) we'll know it was well deserved because we had to FIGHT HARD and surpass a great team to get there. :) Remember...anything worth having IS WORTH FIGHTING FOR and I assure you Leyland is planning a rumble in the D!!! :)

Side Note-----> I'll be happy to get Sheff's bat back into the line up tonight aswell!! :D Man...thank god Thames came through Sunday!! wOO-hOO!! Go MARCUS- Go MARCUS!! ;) hehe!

GO TIGERS!!!

Should be a fun series. No game is a guarntee for either team to win. I think tonight is the closest one to what most people agree on. Cleveland will win. Tommarow I think Detriot will win a close one. On Thursday I think the Indians with CC on the hill will knock off Verlander. Any game could go any way, no pitcher on either team is a piece of cake. Westbrook and Rogers have both been lights out since they've come back from the DL. Byrd is 7-3. I don't know much about Robertson but I have seen he can be good at times. Sabathia and Verlander are argubly the two best pitchers in the league. That will be a good matchup(for the 3rd time).

Cleveland did a nice job of keeping their bullpen rested for this series. Betancourt only threw 5 pitches and Borowski got the day off. Perez pitched 1 2/3 but he was a starter in AAA so thats nothing to him.

I see Cleveland taking 2 out of 3 from the Jays as well. The Tigers will take 1 from the Tribe and 2 from the Sox. Tha twill elave Cleveland 3 games up on the Tigers at the break.

tribe fan here... i don't think it's a "huge" series for either team... they are in a tight race and the only way it would be even remotely big is if Cleveland swept and went up by 5 games. Cleveland hasn't been a good road team so that is highly doubtful. regardless, of what happens, i think it's too soon to say specific games are huge. I think it'll be fun watching the tribe/tigers/twins down the stretch and hopefully 2 out of 3 of them get into the post season. personally, i like the way each team is put together and think that it'll be a tight race... these three games should be very intense, but I give the edge to the Tigers because of the off day. probably 1-1 going into the CC/Verlander match up... should be a good one.

Wow TheMan, so what if the White Sox gained the international sequence, they performed the Astros (f***ing basic win). The Tigers performed the Cardinals, and till now this season, they have consistently been a reliable group. You brag with regard to the Bears being greater effective than the Lions, however the Lions nonetheless have a greater robust QB, as does the different group. Plus, our Pistons eradicated your Bulls, and we could no longer even evaluate the Chicago Black Hawks to the Detroit pink Wings. properly Georgie, i do no longer think of that this weekend is somewhat all that significant, a minimum of no longer in comparison to while the Tigers will play the Tribe in July. That sequence might desire to be vast because of the fact each sport adjustments the version between the two communities by a sport. although that sequence would be vast, there continues to be loads of video games last and that i'm waiting for an in depth race perfect down do the tip.
