I live in New York, but if I go on vacation to a different state, will I be able to watch the Mets/Yankees via mlb.tv?

Yes, you will - the blackouts are based on the market in which you're trying to access the games, not where you registered. I can't watch the Jays while I'm home in Canada, but it works when I travel to the U.S. - it's based on the IP address.

If you are outside the blackout area, the website will detect and ask you to confirm. However, the blackout doesn't always fix itself once you reenter your area. For example, I am in the blackout area for the Rockies, traveled to Minn., got blacked out there for the Twins, but could watch the Rockies live...when I returned home, I was able to watch the Rockies live for the rest of the year, about 4 months...I was very happy :)

Yep,you can watch any game you want but it's a subscription service and you have to pay for it.Just go to mlb.com or your fav team site.I'm sure the details are there on the price.
