Other than Glavine, who has a realistic shot at 300 wins??? Does anyone who started pitching in the 5 man rotation era have a chance?

It doesn't really seem like there is. Starters don't pitch often enough and there is a higher injury rate than before. Maybe Andy Pettitte, who has 190 right now. He needs to have another 7 good years. Maybe some of the younger guys like Roy Oswalt. Of course, he'll probably get injured because he's actually thrown lots of innings. He has 105 wins in only 7 seasons. He has had two 20-win seasons and one 19-win season, so it's possible.

Here is the Active win leaders below 300 wins

Tom Glavine 297
Randy Johnson 284
Mike Mussina 243
David Wells 234
Jaime Moyer 223
Curt Schilling 213
Kenny Rogers 209
Pedro Martinez 206

Looks like outside of Glavine, there may not be another 300 game winner for a while. Point taken!

CC Sabathia, he has 93 wins now at 26 years of age, and is on pace for 105 by the end of this season. If he can average 15 wins a year until he is 40 he will have 315 wins at 40 years old! And in my opinion he could average more then 15 wins a year. The only thing that will stop him from getting 300 is injury.

Before Mark Mulder's injury he was the favorite. Now nobody stands out as a realistic shot. If I was to choose now one, I would choose an American League pitcher for the fact that they can pitch longer due to not being pinch hit for. A long shot could be Danny Haren but he is very success full in the AL. I don't think that he will get even close though.

There aren't any. As long as the rubber band is in the center of the ball, the mound is at 10 inches instead of 15, and the starters feel overused when they go over 200 innings, it won't happen. If anyone were to prove me wrong, it will be Oswalt.

If you had to pick someone out of the air and not fairly obvious, like someone who is close to 300 already, I would say someone who looks like he will be dominant AND started early enough. Someone like Felix Hernandez.

I think there are several Royals that can eventually get to 30 career wins though.

If the surgery was a success and he comes back strong -- Pedro Martinez.

He doesn't have to be the Amazing Pedro of old, but even Mere Mortal Pedro is pretty darn good.

Sure. That's still only 15 wins a year for 20 years. Best shot:
Johan Santana is a probable.
