I think John Maine got snubbed. He had the same record as Cole Hamels, but a better ERA. HE should have taken Cole Hamels's spot.

With Bonds being selected to start in the All-Star game then there is obviously going to be someone who deserved it more. Matt Holliday is having an incredible year and should be starting over either Bonds or Beltran.
He made the all-star team, at least. But, I would say that Chris Young would have to be the most deserving that didn't even make the team.
There is always some guys that can't/don't make it so hopefully some of the guys that were snubbed will be able to fill those spots.

Matt Holliday should be starting in the NL, and if Chris Young doesn't make the team over there, he'd be snubbed the worst...look at the guys' numbers. 2.13 ERA with an 8-3 record, and he's got a great number of K's. In the AL, Victor Martinez is deserving of the starting catcher role
I just looked at the rosters....WHERE THE HELL IS ERIC BYRNES!?!?! He got snubbed worse than anybody...he is leading the Diamondbacks in all 5 major offensive categories, and is tied for 5th in HR in the OF for NL as a leadoff hitter. Not to mention he has over 100 hits, is batting well over .300 and has 15 stolen bases. He should be on that team, and should be before Webb in the final voting segment. Compare his numbers to Aaron Rowand...Byrnes is beating him in every major category!

Had to be Jimmy Rollins 283-14-49 and 15 stolen bases or Hanley Ramirez 318-11-29 and 29 stolen bases, but than again where do you put them? Too many good shortstops in the National League. In the American League what was Leyland thinking taking Manny Ramirez 285-11-43 and no stolen bases over his own man Scheffield 290-18-52 and 11 stolen bases, or Matt Holliday at 349-13-62?

Players voted in Manny, Leyland didn't choose him.
John Maine is the biggest snub, he had better numbers than more than a few of the NL pitchers
Problems saying Youkilis - Morneau was voted in instead, Morneau is better, and I am a Sox fan.
Rollins and Hanley missed out, Reyes and Hardy made it. All 4 were deserving, NL is LOADED with talented SS, Furcal, Renteria

Holden-the people didn't vote in Manny or Morneau. They are reserves, so the manger selected them.
Rollins, Renteria, or H. Ramirez could have made it. Sheffield deserved to make it over Manny. Also Orlando Cabrera should have made it.
