some one asked a questions who are the worst fans in baseball, and at least 85% of the people who answered the question said Philadelphia Phillies fans. i am a Phillies fan, and i do agree that my fellow passionate fans are very very rude, but to say that we need to be locked up in cages, and that we are animals and that we are filthy, and all this other crap is being just as rude as they are saying phillies fans are don't you think?

i mean i am not in denial that phillies fans are extremely hostile, rude , and obnoxious, but to say what those answers said was preposterous.

If he keeps this up for the rest of the year I don't know how yoou guys could keep hating on him. The guy has gotten a lot of 'meaningful' hits this year. I mean A-Rod has gotten blamed for everything in every city has has played but the guy puts up unbelievable numbers. I hear you guys are ready to run Johnny Damon out too.

News Flash! It's not the offense that is killing your team. I don't think even Roger Clemens can pull a Superman on this one. And I see the Yanks are trying for Teixeira? How about thinking about pitching first, SP, bullpen maybe? I know Cashman can't be that much of an idiot, can he?

I am a fan of Louisville athletics and they have a super regional 3 game series against OK St. for the right to go to Omaha. My question to fans of college baseball... are the Cards a legit contender or is this more of a fluke? They beat Miami, Fla and Missouri twice to make it to the super regional, but I can't help but wonder how good they really are. Any thoughts?

I like Wheels but he is a great set up guy and Lidge has his stuff back and I think it's time to make the switch and let him do what he knows how to do and that is slam the door in the 9th inning!

If you could have only Derek Lee or Magglio Ordonez, who would it be? Salaries are pretty close with Lee making about $500,000 more.

The boys in pin stripe are having flashes of brilliance. Last nights 9th inning heroics seem to give us hope that they really are a great team but just haven't shown us yet. I just think it would be great to see the most visible baseball team in the world show us the value of never giving up. Good Luck to the Yankees and I look forward to hearing from everyone.
