I think this would be a good trade now that Frank is starting to get back into his MVP groove and Ohka is only struggling because of poor run support.

Wang is a #3 starter at best, and the Yankees will get a #4 starter with a MVP slugger.

In other words, not someone like Julio Franco. I mean like a real life "The Rookie" kind of thing. They were signed to their first contract older than an average player is normally drafted.

This might be the series that turns the Yanks season around, if not they're done.

The average team payroll for the Yankees from 2002 to 2007 is $175 million per year, the Red Sox $118 million per year, and the Oakland A's $57 million per year. During this six year period the Yankees have won 497 games, the Red Sox 467 games, and the A's 471 games. As you look at these numbers do they tell you that team payroll is not a driving factor as to who will win, or does it tell you that Billy Beane is a much better GM than Brian Cashman or Theo Epstein?

Okay- pitcher or hitter, only stats as a Ranger - not a Senator. Come on dudes make your case, and yes I will reward someone the best answer. Example- Robin Yount is best Brewer ever because of his stats as a Brewer, not Henry Aaron (best Brave ever)

and they (especially hunter) blamed it on the accesibility of Hispanic ballplayers who sign contracts for much less than an african american would??

are their argument valid or is it something else?? i wanna know wut everyone else thinks about this issue
