His name is Roger Clemens and he is a pitcher for the New York Yankees. He has also pitched for the Blue Jays, Red Sox and Astros. He has been in and out of retirement these last few seasons. I just hope he is worth the 28 million the Yankee owner is paying him for half a season.

1999 and 2000,He left the Yankees at the end of 2003,and went to the Astros,,We resigned him this yr,They call him rocket because he throws a mean fastball,,Hope i helped!!

Clemens is his name. He pitched for "your" Yankees before. Actually won a World Series or two with them and a Cy Young. Oh you probably have know idea what a Cy Young is (best pitcher award named after Cy Young), Clemens has won 7 or 8 of them.

Clemens went to U of Texas, won a national championship there. Then went to the Red Sox. Has played with the Yanks, Astros and Blue Jays.

Um his name is Roger Clemens. Just thought I'd point that out. And yes that is his real name. Roger Clemens has been in baseball for many many seasons, and he is by far one of the best pitchers in baseball. And if you are a yankees fan you would know who he is.

Oh and Jared R. Only some women and sports don't mix. Lol. There are a small group of us who actually know sports.

Its Roger Clemens...and he's about 45 years old...In his prime, he was awesome...He won a Cy Young...He has been the ace of the Red Sox and Yankees, but he's not as dominant as he used to be...

After reading this question I've come to the conclusion that you don't deserve the tickets you have to go see "the Rocket" and your Yankees play. Give them to an orphan or underprivileged youth.

Have you been in hibernation for the last 20 years, or are you just a complete idiot? He is arguably the greatest pitcher ever to play the game of baseball. I can't believe you haven't even heard of him. Wow. Especially considering you're supposedly a Yankees fan.

k, your going to observe one of the greatest pitchers in history......pitch. This is a big guy of pitching, and he's really old right now. He might not be that dominant and may not pitch a lot of innings. He played for Red Sox, Jays and Yankees in his prime.
