The most clutch hitter in baseball is currently Troy Tulowitzki (bear with me).
Followed by V.Guerrero, C.Delgado, D.Young and P.Polanco.
He is clutch because he gets his hits when they count. The site I show below actually calculates the odds of winning the game before and after each play, and measures what the high leverage or 'clutch' situations are.
It's hard to define clutch, but if there is, Troy would have it. He also turned an unassisted triple play this year.

Vlad Guerrero, Angels.
How can anyone say A-Rod is the best clutch batter when the Yankers are below five hundred?

It depends how you define clutch.
The best hitter with runners in scoring position has been Nomar, who's batting .448 in those situations to go with a .493 OBP.
If you look at batting with runners in scoring position and two men out, then it's Jeter with an amazing .556 average. The sample size is small, but nonetheless impressive.

the correct answer to this question is benji molina. Not choke-rod, not any other big name players. Benji Molina's average is 150 pts higher with runners in scoring position and two outs than it is any other time.

No, RBI's alone does not mean clutch. Clutch is when one guy alone can win the game for you........like A-ROD.
Not Fat Ortiz
Not Lowell........ALEX RODRIGUEZ
