In the past few years the Yankees have bounced back from bad starts. But how about this season?

He is just one guy. He is not going to bring that big of a change to the Yankees. Baseball is not a one man sport. I can't figure out why so many Yanks fans believe Clemens will solve it all!

When are the players eligable. It seems like to me it should be before the season. Its not like football or basketbll where they have to learn a playbook/offense or defense?

Who is the more effective pitcher? I say AJ Burnett because he can actually pitch a no-hitter.

Being a Yankees fan my self, I was disappointed to see we had #30(last) pick in the first round..and since we didn't win the world series..why would we have last pick?

then bounces off the catcher and hits the batter after he has left the batter's box and on his way to first. Seems like it would be treated the same as getting hit by a thrown ball (which is really nothing). Not a dead ball, not an out.

searching for a 1st baseman that argued a play with the umpire meanwhile it was a safe call, the runners kept running and 2 or 3 runs scored cause he wouldn't give his teammates the ball. this happened cause he had no clue that the runners were able to run.

I think he might of. The reason behind holding him back for saturday's start makes sense. This way he can pitch his first game at Yankee stadium in front of a pumped up crowd. This will give the Yankee fans somthing to get excited about by thinking the Yanks might start to pick up their play now Clemens has arrived in NEW YORK not Chicago.

I'm not saying he definitely faked the injury. Just that its a possibilty.

Looking for how many times (per year) a major league baseball game ended with the winning run being driven in by a batter hit by a pitch. Thanks.

Now I know he still has a great arm and can out pitch most guys half his age, but come on everyone treats the guy like a god. He won't pitch like that forever. Do the yanks think Clemens will last very long? He waisted half the season with rumors of retirement and negotiations and he's struggling going more than a few innings when is on the mound. All that money and they could have gotten more bang for their buck. I want to know who else agrees with me.

I know some announcers have played baseball, but I want to know about the ones who haven't, and have been rewarded with a world series ring. Do not count the analysts either, because most of them have played the game.

Some say he cheated but others say there was no rule against doing what he did at the time he did it. Were those substances banned at the time he used them? If not, how is he a "cheater"?
