A friend and I have been playing baseball together since we were 5 yrs old. He's always had about 5mph more on me in velocity. So when he was about 12 and i was 12 he threw about 78 i threw about 70. Blah we always been on the all star team and i was ACE pitcher over him because i threw strikes etc. Now we are both 18 and im still claimed ace but since im hittin about 88-90 hes around 93 but scouts are knockin at his door and i dont get recognition. So its all about velocity i learned. Id like to add 5-7 mph more. What do you suggest?

For example from the Cubs camp the players are saying that Lou is too hard on them. Pitchers of today can not or very rarely go over 100 pitches. A guy gets a hangnail and he is out for a week. Theses guys just ( well most of them) don't play for the love of the game anymore. Just give me your thoughts. Thanks

The Marlins have struggled to secure public funding for a new stadium the past several years. With the Marlins finishing near the bottom in attendance every year should the team continue to try for new stadium in south Florida or relocate?

If they do relocate where?

I know this is a little early, but I think I should see what other people are thinking. Who do you think is going to be in the World Series, and why?

In three recent starts, he has given up 7-8 runs in each one, and has a disgusting 4.78 ERA.

I think hitters got to him. Do you agree?

Who could (or can) make the best plays when it was critical to do so? Who was (or is) the guy who can make those amazing diving grabs when all hope seemed lost?

While the Yankees have spent around 195 million on payroll for 07. Teams like San Diego are at 58 million. I think there should be a cap like in football. Then there might not be the same teams above .500 year after year. Yes there is the so called "luxury tax". Were teams like the Yankees pay this "tax" if they go over a certain figure. And they always have the money to because of this "luxury tax". In the NFL there might be a good team for a number of years, but there has never been anything like in baseball(Yankees).

Last Monday, Baseball Hall of Famer Wade Boggs was on WWE RAW.

Here's a question relating to Boggs:

1. Which teams did he play on during his hall of fame carrer?
2. How many World Series rings he won?
3. What awards did he get in a single season (any season)?

My first question is -- when is it? I know it's televised on ESPN this year.

Second -- New Jersey prospect Rick Porcello is expected to go No. 2 to KC. But Peter Gammons says he could fall all the way to the Yanks due to the Boras factor. Are teams really this afraid that they won't sign a player?

Three -- Is baseball like football, where, if a player signs with an agent, he loses his amateur eligibility? I read Porcello signed a letter of intent for UNC and he will go there if he can't sign with a team. But, see above question.
