San Diego pitching.
#1 They pitch in the NL and out of Petco.

#2 As dominating starting pitching as any
Peavy - .98 whip, 92:21 K:BB ratio
Young - 1.15 whip 30:13 K:BB ratio
Maddux - 1.26 whip 41:9 K:BB ratio
Wells - a number 4 starter almost averaging 6 innings a game
Germano - .81 whip

#3 Best bullpen in the game
Hoffman, Linebrink, Brocail, Bell all with a whip of .9 or lower

Boston's pitching no doubt. Just look at the guys:
1)Curt Schilling
2)Josh Beckett (8-0)
3)World Phenom Daisuke Matsuzaka
4)Tim Wakefield
5)Shaky Julien Taveraz that will later be replaced by star pitcher Jon Lester.

Bullpen:
1)Hideki Okajima is doing excellent
2) Johnathan Papelbon!
3) Brendan Donelly ain't bad
4) Mike Timlin, but he's gone for the moment

Boston's Pitching hands down. Plus pitching always beats hitting. And to that dude that picked San Diego, Zito plays for Frisco man.

To number one: Buddy, Zito is on the San FRANSICO giants not the San DIEGO padres lol...
I would definitly pick Bostons pitching, because anyone of them could go to the all-star game and are basically unstoppable

San Diego's pitching because Chris Young is deadly; I would not want to go up against him as a batter.

as much as it pains me to say it since i'm a yankee fan, comparatively the red sox pitching is best among them...they have a great starting rotation and their bullpen has held up better than i expected it to, although i think they will fall off...the padres have a good staff and the indians and tigers have very good lineups, but the red sox have pitching that can take them to the world series even without as much help as they get from their offense
