It's more like a love letter to Red Sox fans from two other Sox fen who happen to be movie directors/producers. I like the film a lot. It's by no means a great film, but it is very entertaining.

If it is a chick flick, its by far the Field of Dreams of chick flicks. the best part of the movie is not when ben and lindsay get back together in the end, its seeing the sox end the 86 year curse! whether you think its a chick flick or not, its a really good movie.

Definitely, but they added in some baseball to help guys sit through it. It's not bad to like chick flicks tho...

It's mostly a chick flick, but I admit, I watched it. I'll watch anything with baseball and it wasnt terrible.

Drew Barrymore's in it, so yeah. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent chick flick.

It's more of a romantic comedy. But I would say that both men and women can enjoy it. It's got some good comedy in it. You would like it especially if you like the Red Sox. Overall, good movie.

Ya but it's a pretty good movie...
I was actually at game 4 of the series that year(I'm a huge Cards fan) when they filmed that final scene...We didn't even know about it until it came out later...pretty cool tho!

Yeah. But it is pretty funny and if you like the Red Sox you'd probably like it.

I love Drew Barrymore. But I also love the Yankees, so, to me, it was a horror movie.
