Being a Yankees fan I would love to think so, but their is no curse of the Rocket. I know Clemens will only pitch every 5 days, but he can get us some wins. And it's still early, but in the end I hope it's the Yankees in first. I have every confidence in the Yankees that they will find the winning ways and win the division. I would love nothing more than to see the Red Sox keep up this slump.

I don't see it happening. The Sox have a solid rotation while the Yankees are sputtering along. Clemens will prove valuable but not even close to enough. I see the Sox winning the division by 10+ games and competing for the World Series with the Mets.

Plain and Simple.Yankee Fans think that Clemons is going to save their entire season, when the guy only pitches every 5 days.I wish some of the "fans" on here would get a clue about baseball. It's only June, anything can happen.I am not worried one bit about the Red Sox, all teams have a off week or series. They came off a Yankme series to go to the West Coast, their tired and its a sad but true fact, they don't play their best games in the West.

The Red Sox are on pace to win 103 games this year. Even with the Yankees latest little streak, they will not catch Boston.

well the red sox have had an amazing season. you can't realisticly expect them to keep up at that pace for ever. Sure, they will lose a few games, but honestly right now they are still so many games above everybody else that it will take distater for them to fail this year. Come on... they have to lose a series every now and then. They will come back soon.

All good teams are going to have that 5 or 6 game slide, plus those west coast road trips are killer, but maybe they are coming down to earth a little bit, I mean their pitching staff is a bit overrated and Mike Lowell and Kevin Youkilis aren't going to be able to provide the majority of power numbers all year long.

um im srry but who is in 4th place right now, oh yeah the yankees and i dont think there will be ever a curse of the "rocket", on the red sox. and they still have the best pitching in baseball right now. and the yankees pitching sucks even when roger comes back he wont do s***.

Easy, Red Sox Fan! Keep this in mind: ALL MLB teams will LOSE at least 55-60 games in any given year! (look it up, dude) Relax, & hope that ManRam, Mr. Ortiz, etc stay healthy all season. If that happens, you will be facing our ANAHEIM Angels for the AL pennant!

The beginning of the end?? are you kidding me?? They still have the best record in the majors and their 1-3 starters are the best in the league. And Ramirez and Ortiz haven't hit for power yet.
