Would Prince Fielder be the youngest MVP in baseball history if he was to win it this year? If not who was?

Vida Blue was 22 when he won the 1971 AL MVP. Fielder will be 23 when the 2007 awards are announced.

Not sure if Blue is the youngest, but Fielder would not be.

I did some research for you as I am a big baseball nut as well and this is what I have found...

At 25 years and just under 10 months, Pujols is the youngest NL MVP since Ryne Sandberg in 1984. He is the 13th Cardinal to be named MVP since the BBWAA began handing out the award in 1931, joining a list that includes Hall of Famers Bob Gibson, Orlando Cepeda and Stan Musial, among others.

albert pujols was at 25 years and 10 minths so if prince is younger then yes thats if he wins but the brew crew is falling off as predicted
