Every year you know what you are going to get from Ramirez...
* Batting Average around .300
* 100+ RBI
* 30+ HR
* Bizarre plays and trade requests.
We're about a third of the way through, and Ramirez is hitting .293 with 8 HR & 33 RBI. In other words, about the same.
Say what you want about guy, but he's been amazingly consistent and a likely a hall of famer.

Overrated. At least this year. Manny isnt being Manny this year. Now im anti-boston. I despise the red sox.. But Manny is a great player. This year just isnt his year. He's in a slump compared to what he normally does. Manny is normally up there with the league leaders in RBI and HR but hes doing something wrong this year. Maybe because he's unhappy, maybe he isnt.. But this year hes overrated. Last year and all the years before. Great.

He can be good if he wants....I guess...But mostly he's been a bit off. I personally, being a Yankee fan, think that he is overrated. He occasionally shows potential, I'll give ya that. But he's not quite the best player in AL.

GREAT!!!!!!!! when you average a season 30 hrs and 100 rbi a season he isnt great or overatted hes three words hall of famer

OVERRATED AND wanting to leave boston!!! i CANT stand him. he's not good his BA is only like .264 and people think he's SO good he's really not. also his RBI's are not very good either!

Hes great for being so lazy. I wish he was playing left field for the yankees. Matsui could easily handle right.

He is very good, but has been inconsistant of late. Has under-rated defense and when he gets in a grove has as good a stroke as anyone.
