There is a street by the travel lodge which usually has parking and you can walk across the Southgate bridge. Most anymore park at Newport on the Levee for about 3 dollars and take one of the busses across. It's cheaper and you get out quicker, but you do need to take the shuttle. The final option is to try and find street parking in Covington near the Roebling suspension bridge (the blue bridge featured in Rain Man). That is a little tought but I've always managed to find a spot. Finally, I think you can catch a ferry from the Covington Hooters to the game. Not sure on the cost.

newport on the levee parkinglot..it's cheap and secure.
