I can throw a baseball 80 miles an hour naturally. Like I've never practiced or anything but when I have occasionally done a pitcher to catcher throwing session with my friends I get clocked at 80-82 miles an hour (friend has a radar gun). For about a week now I've been practicing throwing regularly (8 straight days) for the first time in my life (I have a pitching backstop). I want to know how fast can I get my maximum fastball up to in miles per hour. Could I get it up into the 95 mile an hour range. I'm not some smuck either. I'm 6'3 190 pounds, I'm 19 years old, very athletic build. I played some high school quarterback and was always known as the kid with a gun for an arm. I really can gun a football--not to boast or anything. I figured that I shouldn't waste this arm so I'm trying to put it to use. Thing is I've never played baseball other than when I was like 10 years old and younger. I mean 80-82 mph naturally seems rare. So how fast can I get my fastball up to. Thanks.

I'm in college, but I don't want to play college baseball. Is there a league after Little League and in between college? College is very fastidious with its sports, and I'm looking for a more frivolous sporting experience. Any help would be appreciated. I'm located in Bergen County, New Jersey.

800 Homeruns or 4,000 hits. Is there anyone playing today that would have a shot at either one of these two milestones. If so who, and which one is more likely to reach this lofty level of success? Don't just give me a name, support your position with facts.

i'm so tired to see the giants lose!! if i were bruce boacy, i would set my batting order like this, Dave Roberts, Randy Winn, Pedro Feliz, Barry Bonds, Bengie Molina, Ray Durham, Ryan Klesco, Omar Visquel, and then the pitcher, and my pitching rotation will be Matt Morris, Noah Lowary, Matt Cain, Barry Zito, Tim lienccum, if u were the manager how would you set the lineup and the pitching rotaion, and why?

If you were in the stands and caught the 500 homerun ball of Frank Thomas and he asked for you to come and see him after the game and offered to autograph another ball, a game jersey, game glove, and a game bat in exchange for the homerun ball, would you do it? Honest answers only would be appreciated.

Since Chris' alleged anabolic steroid use is being blamed for these "roid rage" murders and his suicide, will MLB come down even harder on the alleged users within the sport? I know that Barry has not "tested positive". However, he is highly suspect. I'm wondering about Giambi, Lawton, Mota, et al.

it's pretty amazing how he seems to forget that he made the last out of the 1968 World Series by popping out to Bill Freehan, hence giving The Tigers the World Series Championship (after being down 3 games to 1).

if Barry is guilty shouldn't McGwire step up and say the truth that Canseco told everyone else. If you look at his baseball cards in his early years he was a scrawny toned build, then to St.Louis where he became montrous!
