could you believe that dave winfield was actually drafted right out of high school in st. paul, mn. by the baltimore orioles (40th round - number 876 ,) as a pitcher/outfielder in 1969. after college at minnesota, not only was he drafted by the padres, he was also drafted by the atlanta hawks-nba, utah stars-aba, and by what nfl team as a tight end?

I mean he's 9-5 now, but he is on the redsox, so on a bad team he probably be 6-8. I've seen him play twice he didn't look that good. What do you all think?

At the game they were not very helpful (probably due to the fact it was storming and there were tons of people). They did however tell me I have to mail my tickets in because they are print off tickets.....what do I do to get to go to another game? Plus, if you are not "handicapped" can you request tickets in that area? I am asking b/c my husband is a big guy (muscular/tall) and would be more comfortable for him as well as those around us. Can we do that?

I' m looking for a book, Baseball Guide 2007, published by the Sporting news.
I bought every Baseball guide, published by the Sporting news, from 1978 edition to 2006 edition.
It contains complete major and minor league stats a year before.
It's like this.

Grady Sizemore is not currently voted as a starting outfielder for the AL, but instead Ichiro, Mag Ordonez, Vlad Guerrero. I agree with Mags and Vlad, but does anyone else think sizemore should be ahead of ichiro?

This other guy red4tribe thinks A-Rod is worse than Grady Sizemore. Now can we all prove to him he's wrong. HE somehow thinks Sizemore is the best player in the MLB.

So who do you thinks better? A-Rod or Sizemore (I know it's A-Rod, but just to prove to Red4Tribe)
