Baseball is not an individual sport it is a team game. Personal accomplishments are great and almost every fan loves to look at the numbers so they can make some kind of an assessment as to how a player might rank when compared to others. Many great players go their entire career without a world championship. Ernie Banks, the great shortstop for the Cubs has said often he would trade in all his personal accomplishments for one championship. There are many other great players that never found themselves in the winners circle that would feel the same way. Your question is what would I prefer and my answer would be something like yours but I would venture to guess that those great players without a championship would not pick as you or I would.

it's all about the ring.
Personal accomplishment? 300 wins. Looks like that might be the hardest to get. 500 is too easy now. 3,000 hits is a tough one but the magic 300 appeals to me the most.

personally i would rather get 3000 hits. Home runs are are nice, but they don't show that you are a consecutive batter. and even bench warmers could get 300 wins or a championship. 3000 hits would be more rewarding as an individual player

I would go with 3000 hits since I don't have much power, I just hit for contact. A championship would be nice also.

If I could only pick one, i`d take the world championship, since there are hundreds of players that never even make the playoffs.

500 hundred cause i would be a threat at the plate and i would love to be in the category that the 500 home runs.

I'd take 300 Wins. With the strain that pitchers are putting on their arms now-a-days I'd be surprised if we see any young and up-coming pitchers reach that milestone.
