Pujols hands down...he is a clutch performer and can make everyone around the lineup better with his presence.
Pitchers fear facing him...just ask Brad Lidge one of the premier closers in the game before the 06 season...Pujols hit a 2 run homerun off of him in the NLCS with like 2 outs and 2 on and STL trailing by 2 in the 9th
Pujols hit a moonshot and everyone remembers that...ever since then Brad Lidge has not been the same.
Prince fielder...dude is jut hot right now...only a matter of time before pitchers start exploiting a couple of holes in his swing

Albert Pujols for right now. He has had 6 consecutive 30 homer, 100+ RBI seasons...starting with his rookie year. In a couple of years we will see Prince Fielder's progress to see if he can reach Pujols-like numbers.
THIS SEASON Prince Fielder has been the best player in the National League.
Compared Statistics: (2007)
Prince Fielder: .282 average, 27 homeruns, 63 RBIs
Albert Pujols : .299 average, 16 homeruns, 48 RBIs

Albert Pujols may finish with even more homeruns than Barry Bonds! At this pace, he'd certainly get very close to it.
Prince Fielder is having a good year, no doubt. But he can't field and he can't run. Even his daddy (Cecil Fielder) had one monster year. Let's hope Prince doesn't live that same fate.
Overall, Pujols will end up being lightyears better than Fielder.

Gotta go with Albert. He's been the man for six years. Prince Fielder is hot now but not in Pujols over-all class yet.

It's close but i think that Prince is a better choice. He is a young athlete who had an All-Star father to help him along the way. Albert is getting old and will be passing his prime pretty soon. Who cares if Fielder is big and slow, he has the most power I've ever seen. I'd take Fielder over Albert right now as a dynasty player.

Pujols is a proven man, a defensive and offensive beast and the heart of the St. Louis franchise. Prince Fielder is just having a miraculous year but needs to prove
himself on the long run and acquire the defensive ability of Pujols.

Fielder, and anybody who says Pujols is wrong and here is why. The All-Star game is the player having the best performance that year and that year only. If you want to honor someone for a great career you retire their number and put them in the hall of fame.

Fielder is the correct choice. He is a young player just beginning his career that hasn't reached his prime. Pujols has reached his prime and maybe is past it. While Pujols is a proven player, I would take the chance on Fielder.

Pujols - because he has a higher vertical jump
Fielder - actually made it around all the bases in Minnesota - "A" for effort
Answer: Fielder, his team is hot...Pujols isn't making any noise because the lineup around him stinks
