I' m looking for a book, Baseball Guide 2007, published by the Sporting news.
I bought every Baseball guide, published by the Sporting news, from 1978 edition to 2006 edition.
It contains complete major and minor league stats a year before.

Did the Sporting news publish Baseball Guide 2007?
If not, why? Thanks for answers.

No, they didn't. They've been shaking up their publications for the past couple of years, getting rid of the Scouting Notebook (which I loved!) last season and the Guide this year. I'm not sure of the exact reasoning, but they definitely seem to be aiming their newer publications at fantasy fans - apparently, the Guide and Scouting Notebook were a little old-fashioned, and the Register is now the last of their old-school publications still being published.

The Sporting News apparently did not publish a baseball guide this year. Haven't heard why. It did put out the Register, and the record book is available on line.
