if Barry is guilty shouldn't McGwire step up and say the truth that Canseco told everyone else. If you look at his baseball cards in his early years he was a scrawny toned build, then to St.Louis where he became montrous!

One difference is that Barry ISN'T stepping forward to admit it. He will wait until someone proves that he knew what he was taking.

He had already admitted it took something, but said he didn't know it was steroids.

McGwire has already had the first step taken against him, that HOF vote was devistating in its voice. The writers don't believe you are innocent and they are prepared to back it up with their vote. (Keep in mind, he did hit 49 home runs as a scrawny kid too)

The issue I have with Canseco is, not that he told on other players, but he did it so he could make money, nothing more.

If there was no pay day in it for him, he wouldn't have said jack. He doesn't think enough of the game of baseball and the fans to come clean unless there is something in it for him.

Barry's wealth will keep him innocent, sadly. McGwire is fading from memory, but we can only hope the Hall of Fame will not be sullied by any of these juice monsters.
They should kick anybody out of baseball that starts to look like the "Michelin Man".

Hopefully they'll both have to pay for what they've done. McGwire was monstrtous in Oakland as well, I remember the "Bash Brothers" days. I was mad when they lost the world series to Cincinnatti, now I'm glad they did. I just couldn't imagine why all the pitchers were beaning them back then, it makes a lot more sense now.

Found guilty by whom?? Has he been charged by some court other than the court of public opinion? He did admit he "may" have taken some steroids "unknowingly," and his trainer does sit in jail because he will not testify about Bonds and his use of steroids. However, that still lay in the court of public opinion, not any official court re: Bonds. What court do you think will find him "guilty"?

Chow!!

Nope...they will never catch Barry. If they haven't caught him by now, they never will. He will retire soon enough, and no one will hear from him again, until he is elected into the HOF, or when A-Rod or Pujols breaks the HR record.

Should he? Yes! Will he. Doubtful. Only in my dreams will Barry Bonds be removed from the record books and banned from baseball. (Sigh)

He should be found guilty and be kicked out of mlb forever. The animal is huge and thanks to roids he does what he does and imagine if the old school guys would have used steroids they would have unbelievable records. Don't get me wrong I believe that records are meant to be broken but it looks better when you do it with out cheating.

Who cares, if these overpaid children want to take steroids let them. A gorilla with a bat is more amusing than a bean pole any day, it makes for a more interesting game too. As long as they didn't rage out and beat somebody to death it shouldn't be our concern if their killing their liver or shrinking their nuts anyhow.
