all about the money. that's why i don't have a favorite baseball team. how can you have a favorite when the players aren't loyal to you? why be loyal to them? the players only stay with the same team for a couple of years, so i don't even follow certain teams. free agency sucks. the guaranteed contract sucks.
if i were you, i would stop trying to figure out all the politics and the players, i used to and it makes me very angry, so i just said screw it, i'm just going to watch the game for the game. screw all the players that love money, because they are the majority. too bad we can't have more Biggio's!!

For the Red Sox fans: Damon knew he had a serious injury coming. A fortune teller told him that if he played this year he would cause the team to lose more games. Damon, being a true Bostonian, signed with the Yanks in order to cause them to lose more games. He swallowed his pride, donned the uniform of evil, and signed the contract. He gives his best so that Torre will continue to play him, but as the psychic said his play would cause more losses. Therefore as a Yankee he is doing more to ensure that Boston will win the East. Just a theory, but you never know.

Because Boston was not willing to pay Damon the kind of money he was asking for.The Yankees are paying him $13,000,000, where is Boston was paying him $8,250,000 in his last year.He wanted more money.Which is fine, he is a trader, and were just happy with Coco in CF, at least Crisp can THROW.
