Okay, I got these Topps baseball cards in a pack of Pepsi, and one of the cards had Edgar Renteria on the front. But on the back, it shows Mickey Mantle and his stats. I was wondering if this card is valuable at all.

i mean they had the best starting pitching with maddux, smoltz, glavine, and mercer as there closer.
they had good hitters with chipper, justice, deion, mgriff, pendelton, list goes on and on.
then they made the playoffs every year in the 90's and last year was the first time in a longtime they didnt make the post season.
there manager is one the best in the game right now next to tony larusa and the yankees manager joe torre.

You would have to say yes. I mean John Maine and Oliver Perez both are below average starting going thru hot streaks and El Duque sux Pedro is old and Glavine is old?

Will the Mets Fall in the NL East?
Who will take over if they do?

Road A - Hit 15 to 22 home runs, 48 to 69 rbi's, bat .258 to .265 a year and make 400,000 to 700,000 a year max. You don't take streoids and you honor the game. You get traded just about every other 2 years.

Road B - Hit 35 to 50 home runs, 120 - 130+ rbi's, bat .298 to .315+ a year and make 8,000,000 to 13,000,000 a year plus endorsements. You take steroids and you see it as being a provider for your family and it's not really hurting any one. You have a nice contract that keeps you in one place.

I noticed how fewer and fewer players steal bases these days. Why is this happening? Does this mean that 300 SB will become the new 500 SB?

Most people say sidearm curveballs and sliders are the most strenuous pitch on a person's arm.

Well, I've thrown basically from every arm slot known to man in my lifetime...and some known to apes...

But when I throw a sidearm curveball, it seems to be the easiest pitch I have on my arm.

Is it just because I've thrown sidearm for some time now(about 10 years)? Because I can't convince my coaches that it's easy on my arm, they all usually limit me to about 10-15 curveballs a game, and I'd have to say it's probably my "money pitch", along with an overhead fastball to throw batters for a loop.

My boyfriend likes watching Red Sox games and he is wondering why do they sing it? When did they start doing that? He wants some info about the whole craze of that song during the 7th inning stretch. By the way he says its an awesome song: BAH BAH BAH BAH!
