Pedro the mets pitching staff is doing pretty good and will be even better when pedro comes back while the Yanks have a good pitching Rotation but theyre just not performing up to their level and its too late for them now

Clemens will have a bigger impact because the Mets are having a great year as it is and don't need much adjustment to their rotation. Pedro will be a great addition and give them more success, but they don't really need it at the moment.

The Yankees, on the other hand, desperately need some solid starting pitching. Clemens is doing ok in the minors, but he's rusty that's normal. Once he gets back in uniform after a few more sessions I think he'll get back to his old self the past few years and will definitely help the Yankees out with some solid innings, pending their offense supports him.

So Clemens I think will have a bigger impact, although Pedro will also help an already good team.

The Mets can win it all without Pedro but the Yankees need Clemens, not only on the mound but in the clubhouse. I am not saying Clemens is a better pitcher at this time in his career but will have a bigger impact when he returns.

By the time Clemens comes back, the Yankees may be so far out of contention his return may have no value at all. Martinez may not pitch as well as he has in the past, but he provides the Mets a psychological advantage, and if he can even get a start or two in the playoffs, Pedro in a playoff or World Series game at 70-75% is better than what they had last year.

Clemens, simply by virtue of appearing in more games ("impact" can be good or bad, you didn't specify). Unless the Mets decide to put Pedro in the bullpen, he'll only get into maybe 10-12 games, Clemens more like 20-22.

Pedro because the National League hitters are weaker and unlike Clemens, Martinez will pitch road games...

I think since Pedro is coming back so late, and his team is good currently Roger will make a bigger impact. Why? HIs team is struggling and he is coming back sooner, the Yankees really need a good pitcher that won't walk in 3 runs (Scott Procter) :)

Clemens...Pedro's team is set in it's ways and has leadership...the yankee's are lost in the sauce.
