yes why not if he stays healthy and kepps on doing what he doing he will become the first yankee to hit 3,000 that would be amazing

No I see him breaking down and not even coming close to 3000 hits he maybe the Yankees all time hit leader but I don't see him having many more years to play.

Definately. He isnt very old and Im guessing about 3 or 4 more seasons. If he really wants to win, though, hell leave the Yankees.

i hope so, i really like Derek jeter. he aint the best baseball player but he is the face of Yankees and one of the most recognizable faces in sports. but according to stats, shortstops have the shorts careers out of all the positions, followed by third basemen, u know why, cuz it is the most fiscally demanding position on the field.

He's gotten over 200 hits in the past few years and is on track to accomplish it again this year, and even more, so there's no doubt he'll pass the 3,000 hit mark. I don't see him retiring anytime soon, he'll still be in uniform up until his late 30s, maybe even 40.

Yes, I do. I am a Red Sox fan but admire Jeter for his great play, his hitting, and his attitude of winning. He epitomizes what a great baseball player is and should be. Hall of Fame for him for sure.
