Is there a specific rule that prevents pitchers from batting in the AL? Can the manager allow the pitcher to hit for himself if he so chooses? Can another pitcher be the DH?

Assuming hes being groomed as maybe not the next but, the future manager, if he manages NYY to a title and with his 9 gold gloves his MVP, batting titles and other accomplishment over only 11 full seasons and 3 partial seasons will that be enough to get him in as a manager / player?

The fact that your pitcher is supposed to throw at the other team when a big player is hit?

That you're not supposed to bunt with a big lead?

That you must never show up the other side even when you crush a homer?

That a manager will not take a guy out in the middle of an inning no matter how many consecutive errors he makes?
