I assume you're asking because he's listed as a 1B on this year's All-Star Game ballot. That's a shame, because it means Kevin Youkilis, Boston's everyday 1B, was left off the ballot to make room for Ortiz, and Youk has a higher BA (.352 vs. .316 as of 27 May)
In fact, Youk has the highest BA of all AL 1Bs, and Ortiz is second.

Ten games, and they were not all interleague, visiting the NL games.
Two in Philadelphia (5/19-20).
Three in Atlanta (6/16-18).
Two in Florida (7/1-2).
Then two in Seattle (7/21-22) and one in Tampa (8/5). Manny DH'd in these three games.

It was a grand total of 10 games ! He was a dh for the red sox for 138 games & he also pinched hit three times in games he didnt start.
had a total of 54 homeruns & even 1 stolen base last year as well,lol !
