I think it is. You can't judge how effective a guy is just by his batting average. There are many guys out there who don't hit .300 but who are great players. I don't think .250 is that bad. 1 out of 4 considering how hard it is to hit a 95 mph fastball is not bad at all!

They thought came to me that Bobby Cox might be trying to break the ejections record. Being ejected two days in a row, just seems like he really wants to be #1 in ejections.

I know the answer already. I'm just trying to get a rough idea on the depth of ignorance and bigotry that exists in some people's views with regards to their opinions on the valued national past time.

Nation's Capital Seeks New Slogan
What Happens in Washington, Stays in Washington?
By DAVID KERLEY
ABC News
(May 26) - As city slogans go, Las Vegas has set the new gold standard. The city's "What Happens Here, Stays Here" campaign has helped attract almost 40 million visitors each year to the Nevada gambling paradise.

Now, the nation's capital wants a piece of that action -- so much so that Washington is on the market for a snappy slogan of its own, and it's willing to spend $150,000 to find one.

What slogan would you offer our nation's capital...?

Think of a good slogan or "catch phrase" to improve the image of Washington, D.C.

Why try and help a slumping sport? Major League Baseball is now officially overated. All this Barry Bonds blasting is becoming ridiculous. Don’t you realize when Barry Bonds retires a " Little Black Book" will come out ripping apart Major League Baseballs secrets. Just be patient and see the wrath of BONDS!

My mom says she really doesn't have the money and she says it is probably just a picture that someone took of Alex at a game but I found this on The Upper Deck Store on the internet and I think it is really worth something, and if it is not worth a lot now then maybe it will be in the future.

This year has certainly been a disappointment thus far, to say the least. This got me thinking - which would be more embarrassing for Yankee fans, the debacle in the '04 ALCS, or this '07 team missing the playoffs entirely?

On the one hand, you have a team that had success by getting to the ALCS, but they completely collapsed, becoming the first team in MLB's rich history to blow a 3-0 series lead in the playoffs! And if that weren't bad enough, it was to the Boston Red Sox, allowing them to go on and win their first world series in 86 years! That had to hurt badly, and had to be very embarrassing.

But then this year, you have a $200+ million team that is struggling to just get to .500. The team looks heartless, the offense is feast or famine, the pitching is very inconsistent, and they just look lethargic. For a team that spends over $50 MILLION more than any other team in baseball to miss the playoffs would be a joke. But it could happen to the Yankees.

So which is worse?
