Yes from the answers above me they have..I don't see it happening this year since there is at least one team that will be under them..I really don't think people need to bash the Red Sox because the Yankees are awful this year..And contrary to belief, one week will not change the season since you cant gain back 11 1/2 games in 1 week...

I'm sure they have, but they won't be finishing in last place anytime soon. Yes, it looks like they could this season, but they are going to get hot.

Yes, they were pretty bad during the 60's in Ralph Houk's second stint. I can't give you exact years right now, but I know for sur ethey have. Back in the Highlander days they weren't great either. But don't you dare think last place this year. The f***in Sox are so dead!!!

I'm sure they have at some point in the franchise's history.
It won't happen anytime soon though. They are too rich, and the O's and D'Rays suck too much...
