Last night I was at a Giants game and the new scoreboard had the following stats listed:
R (runs)
H (hits)
E (errors)
L (???)

What the heck does the L stand for???? My friends and I have been searching all over the Internet to try to figure this out!

I had a friend ask me this trivia question once, and how there can be 4 recorded outs in an inning. It happens with 1 out, runners on 2nd and 3rd. Batter hits a deep fly ball to right field that is caught for the 2nd out. Both runners try to advance after the catch. Runner on 3rd scores, but the runner on 2nd is thrown out at 3rd after the runner scores, giving you the 3rd out. Then, the 3rd baseman challanges the tag up at 3rd to contest that run, and that runner left the bag early, so they are called out as well, so they are the 4th out as well.

Has this ever happened or is it just a fun trivia question?

We all know Major League Manager's get ejected quite regularly, as do players, but if an NBA player get's ejected there's a lot of talk about his suspension and whether or not it was warrented, but what is the penalty for being ejected as a manger from a Major League Baseball game? Is there a standard penaty or is determined on a case to case basis? Is there even a penalty?

Hank Aaron broke the home run record?

Me? I was in my room listening to "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin. I was 11 years old. My Mother was cheering and that got my attention. I saw the replay on television. We still had a black and white set then. Oh, the good ole' days.

I say yes. He has a career line of .284-493-1500 and he is one of the few sluggers who was almost certainly roid free. He also was a solid hitter in the playoffs with a career avg of .303 with 10 homers.
