I say no, can't we take responsibility for our own actions. I hope the judge throws this case out immediately.

Baseball could possibly use video replay similar to football each manager could get 2 chances per game to dispute a call and go to the video tape.Give 1 minute to resolve issue because baseball is slow enough.Of course you can not dispute balls and strikes.

John Smoltz became the first player to have 150 saves and 200 wins last night, how does this help his HOF resume? And do you think anyone else will accomplish this feat?

Why arent MLB games played in the morning...lets say like a 10:30 or 11 am game ? They're always in the afternoon and night and best times of all is a 110 and a 710 start ...the late 8pm or the mid afternoon( 3 - 4 PM ) starts arent that good. But anyways.. why do MLB games never have morning start times?

It's always more difficult to win a game on the road vs at home in any sport. Is it more difficult in baseball than other sports. Best anser to the best explanation either way.

He's hitting .214 this year and wasn't very good last year either. I don't think this is what they had in mind when they signed him to that big deal.

I have a 2007 Fleer Jason Marquis card that has the cubs emblem on it, but he is pictured in a cardinals uniform. Not only would any die hard cubs fan say this is a big No No, but it doesn't even state on the back of the card that he is with the cubs, it speaks about the cardinals. The only way you know it's his cubs card is because of the Cubs emblem on the front and back of the card. Misprint? or Fleer's way of trying to tick off Die Hard cubs fans?

Someone said that Jones is the best CF ever. I believe that is a totally fallacy, perpetuated by the SportsCenter highlights.

But my question is who is a better CF over their career?

Jim Edmonds: 9 Gold Gloves, 8 seasons with a perfect fielding percentage, .288 career BA, 33 HR, 101 RBI career

Andrew Jones: 9 Gold Gloves, 2 seasons with a perfect fielding percentage, .265 Career BA, 34 HR, 103 RBI career numbers

I would say that Edmonds is every bit his equal at the plate and the field. And let's not forget that Jones was playing on fantastic Braves teams for the majority of his career while Jim Edmonds was not playing with teams anywhere near that good in Anaheim or STL, when he first arrived.

Of course, I think the best ever CF was Willie Mays, but that is another argument for another day.

A hitter is considered to have a good season if he successfully hits a ball three out of every ten times (.300).

But what about the on-base percentage statistic? What qualifies as "good" as opposed to "poor"?
