I think so. He is the drama king of baseball, right now is having difficulty getting minor league batters out, and is grossly overpaid. There is no way he will "rescue" the Yankees, and it couldn't happen to a better guy than Clemens. He has NO class and is a total jerk.

Chow!!

I know of a Mike Clemons. He's the head coach of the CFL's Toronto Argonauts, but I don't know if he has a brother Roger.

If you mean Roger Clemens, then the only answer is that he'd be a mistake for any team, simply because he refuses to be a part of the team.

No hes not. Clemons did great things for the yankees in the 90's.But I do have to say that he is having a hard time in the minor leagues right now, but things will get better.

If Cashman signed Chris Clemons, then yes, that'd be a mistake.

Signing Roger Clemens, though, will not be.

Well I'm a Met fan. But looking at it realistically, the money they are spending on him wouldnt be spent on someone else, and if he breaks then they dont have to worry about his salary for coming years in coming offseasons. So he;s not really affecting their payroll in the long run, and seeing how other pitchers are fairing- they may as well try. He;s their only hope- so no, i dont think its a "mistake:.

No. He will draw fans and make the yankees proud to know thier owner tried again. But, he will not help, the yankees are done.

No more so than Carl Pavano, Jaret Wright, and a host of other pitchers that they spent big bucks on and did not make to the WS.

They had to get him, so no, its not a mistake.

Its throwing the dice, it was a long shot, you cannot hold it against them if Clemens is no good.

I am sure Clemens will be pretty good.
